At Joyful Family Surrogacy, we believe that having a family should be a joyful experience for everyone involved. Our experienced surrogacy team will work with you from the start to ensure that your journey is a successful one. We are committed to upholding the highest standards when it comes to our surrogates.
Our requirements for becoming a surrogate include:

Age range 21–38
-
Lives in a surrogate friendly state within the United States

BMI of 19–32
-
No smoking or illicit drug use
-
At least one successful pregnancy, but no more than five vaginal births and no more than three Cesarean births
-
If recently pregnant, at least six months need to pass since last vaginal birth prior to transfer or one year since cesarean birth.

Currently raising a child
-
No major complications from previous pregnancies
-
Pap smear completed within the last year
-
Not receiving state assistance at time of contract completion.

Ability to travel as needed for surrogacy appointments

No felony convictions
-
No tattoos or piercings in the last six months

Cannot be on anti-depressants or anti-anxiety medication for at least 6 months prior to transfer

No untreated addiction, abuse, depression, eating disorders or traumatic pregnancy, labor and/or delivery
